Sophia's Daughters is a group designed to bring equal rights to the "fairer sex".
Description[]
Sophia's Daughters is an interesting political machine, maneuvering people into power across the nations of western Theah to meet their goals. They seek to empower women through training at boarding and finishing schools. They engage in public demonstrations to advance their agenda. When not engaged in such activities, the Daughers make efforts to protect women from abusive fathers and husbands, as well as on the street. The Daughters finally maintain The Great Library; one of the largest intellectual resources in Theah, with the most complete account of history on the continent.
Perhaps because a large number of the members are Vodacce, many among Sophia's Daughters use magic; including Porte, Sorte, and Glamour.
Active Locations[]
Sophia's Daughters is active in all nations in Theah save Cathay and The Empire of the Crescent Moon. They are based in Montaigne.
Fighting Schools[]
To better protect themselves (and advance their agenda), the Daughters developed a fighting style all their own.
Necare - This style is based around using a poisoned knife. They are also trained in spycraft to gain access to resources they require.
Magic: Scrying[]
It's said that the Daughters have developed a unique magic called Scrying, which has a different effect depending on the gender of the user. This magic has a single stage.
Women gain the ability to determine if a person is in line with their goals or opposed to their goals or otherwise neutral to them. You can also breath water (which you need to scry) and can travel to the Sidhe homeland of Bryn Bresail through specially prepared pools.
Men similarly gain the ability to determine if a person is in line with their goals or opposed to their goals or otherwise neutral to them and can also breath water. They now age at half the normal rate, are immune to diseases, and heal more quickly than normal humans. To maintain the male-only benefits, you must open a portal to Bryn Bresail each day through your pool (though you cannot enter said portal or even see into it)
Scrying requires creating a special pool of water and dunking your head into its depths for an extended period of time.
